Legacy Announces 2025 Q1 Brand Ambassadors
The purpose of the Brand Ambassador Program is to highlight employees who represent Legacy’s Core Values of Excellence, Education, Energy, and Empowerment. Legacy employees submit nominations, and a committee selects one ambassador per core value each quarter.
We are pleased to announce the selection of our 2025 Quarter 1 Legacy Brand Ambassadors.
Excellence- Emilie T.
Emilie is a Card Services Specialist and has been with Legacy for 2 years. In her nominations, she was described as “always very patient and willing to lend a helping hand“ in every situation she encounters. She was commended for her helpful attitude when assisting members and coworkers. “Emilie embodies all of the core values so well, but primarily excellence in a way that seems effortless. She goes above and beyond the call of duty when assisting members, answering all of their questions even if they aren’t related to our department. If she doesn’t know the answer, then she’ll find out. Numerous members have voiced their appreciation for Emilie’s patience, calm demeanor, empathy shown throughout the interaction, and how thorough she is when assisting them. We should all strive to be more like Emilie!” said Tatianna, Loss Prevention Manager. When asked how it felt to be nominated as a Brand Ambassador, Emilie said, “I am very honored to have been nominated for Excellence. Legacy has been a great place for me to uphold my strengths in helping others, and assisting members and coworkers to the best of my ability. I am so thankful to be a part of a great team.”
Education- Pam S.
Pam is a Mortgage Processing Specialist and has been with Legacy 16 years. Pam was noted as “always willing to help” the frontline staff “understand how mortgage loans work,” which empowers them “to be able to talk with confidence to our members.” She was described as “kind and energetic” when educating others about mortgages. Brad, VP of Mortgage Lending, said, “Pam has a genuine passion for both learning and sharing knowledge with others. Her enthusiasm for education is evident in her continuous pursuit of personal growth, as well as her dedication to helping her teammates and members alike. Her commitment to both learning and educating others makes her an invaluable asset to the team.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Pam said, “It is an honor and I am very happy to have been nominated. It is especially rewarding that my coworkers nominated me for education, and believe I can either answer their questions or know how to find the answer. Many times, when they call, I will show them how to find the answer too, so they can learn and be empowered to help the members who are right in front of them.”
Energy- Traci M.
Traci is a Branch Manager at our Main Office and has been with Legacy for 19 years. One nominator said Traci has a “positively infectious personality.” She was described as “making the job look effortless.” It was noted how Traci remains “upbeat and optimistic” and “handles adversity with ease and grace.” Haley, Director of Branch Operations, said, “I don’t think Traci has a bad day. She is always smiling and is always the most enthusiastic person in the room. Her infectious energy uplifts everyone around her. She brings positivity, hard work, and enthusiasm to every task she completes. Traci inspires her team to also stay positive, work hard, and push through challenges every day. We are so lucky to have Traci as a branch leader.” When asked how it felt to be nominated by her peers, Traci said, “The most rewarding aspect of my job is knowing I’ve put forth effort into helping someone, whether it is a member or employee. It feels great being nominated for the Brand Ambassador of Energy. I was very shocked. Energy resonates with me because I believe what you put out is what you get in return. Just a tiny ounce of positive energy can go a long way. You never know how far a ‘Hello!’ or ‘How are you?’ can go.”
Empowerment- Nicole D.
Nicole is a Contact Center Specialist and has been with Legacy 10 years. Nicole was highlighted for being willing to “take care of everything” in the Contact Center. “She goes above and beyond” to make sure the department accomplishes their tasks in a timely manner. Nicole is willing to train new employees, and empowers them in their roles. Tammy, Assistant Contact Center Manager, described Nicole as “demonstrating the confidence to handle whatever situation, concern, or issue we encounter in the Contact Center. She is our department trainer and is ready and willing to take on any task or role she’s presented. We are fortunate to have such a capable individual that exemplifies Legacy’s Core Value of Empowerment.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Nicole said, “Wow! Being selected as a Brand Ambassador made my day. I told my whole family! It is very humbling to receive this award, and I’m so thankful to work with wonderful people here at Legacy.”
