Legacy Foundation & Legacy Credit Union Gives Back to Children’s of AL

Birmingham, AL – The Legacy for Good Foundation partnered with Legacy Community Federal Credit Union for the 6th Annual Legacy for Children’s initiative, donating $3,200 to Children’s of Alabama, the state’s only freestanding pediatric medical facility.

Over the last 6 years, the combined efforts of the Legacy for Good Foundation and Legacy Credit Union raised over $73,000.

To raise these funds, the Legacy for Good Foundation and Legacy Community Federal Credit Union partnered to sell eco-friendly reusable totes at all area branches. In addition, over 100 Legacy employees participated in Casual for a Cause Day to further support the Legacy for Children’s initiative.

Legacy Credit Union actively participates in numerous community events and their most recent efforts include sponsorship of the soon-to-be-constructed Legacy Pavilion for UAB football, as well as Legacy Arena at the BJCC.

The Legacy for Good Foundation continually supports the community through various charitable endeavors. For more information regarding the Legacy for Good Foundations, contact Gina Cannady at [email protected].
