Legacy Announces Brand Ambassadors for Q2
The purpose of the Brand Ambassador Program is to highlight employees who represent Legacy’s Core Values of Excellence, Education, Energy, and Empowerment. Legacy employees submit nominations, and a committee selects one ambassador per core value each quarter.
We are pleased to announce the selection of our Quarter 2 Legacy Brand Ambassadors.
Excellence- Mark M.
Mark is an Accounting Specialist and has been with Legacy for 21 years. In his nominations, he was described as being able to handle any accounting questions or problems “with ease.” Mark was commended for always answering the phone and being willing to assist, even if it isn’t his specific area. He goes out of his way to make sure others get their questions answered as quickly as possible. He is happy to help all employees, and does so with kindness, patience, and excellence. “Mark’s dedication to service is an example to everyone who strives for excellence. I am proud to have him on our team.” said Tony V., AVP of Accounting. When asked how it felt to be nominated as a Brand Ambassador, Mark said, “I am very honored and appreciative. I’m very grateful to have worked for Legacy for the past 21 years. I strive every day to uphold Legacy’s core values in the work that I do. I look forward to continuing working with my peers and assisting them in any way I can.”
Education- Tatianna W.
Tatianna is our Loss Prevention Manager and has been with Legacy for over 7 years. Tatianna was noted for her dedication to “keeping everyone informed and up to speed” on what is happening in her department. She was described as “a wealth of knowledge” and highlighted for being the “perfect example of education.” Shane B., AVP of Enterprise Risk Management, said, “Tatianna is an asset not only to the Risk Management Department, but to Legacy as a whole. Her depth of knowledge in Card Services and Loss Prevention is hard to match. She does an outstanding job in training her team, and is always willing to stop what she is doing to help her staff solve a problem, or to handle a difficult situation. Tatianna also wants to learn as much as she can to further her education in all areas she works with. She is a joy to work with every day.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Tatianna said, “I was very surprised and honored to see that I was nominated for this specific Brand Ambassador. If there is one thing I want to always be known for, it is educating my team so they are able to be as self-sufficient as possible. By providing adequate education, I hope that they feel empowered and confident to make decisions in their daily interactions with fellow employees and members.”
Energy- Caleb L.
Caleb is a Marketing Specialist and has been with Legacy for 2 years. Caleb’s energy is infectious. He was described as “putting his all into tasks he is assigned to.” It was noted how Caleb makes others feel comfortable and at ease with his pleasant and outgoing personality and positive energy. He consistently raises the energy in any room he enters. When asked how it felt to be nominated by his peers, Caleb said, “I’m extremely excited to be the Energy Brand Ambassador! I try every day to be a thermostat and not a thermometer. A thermometer reacts to the temperature in the room, whereas a thermostat sets the temperature of a room. So when it comes to energy, you can either choose to bring up the people around you, or bring them down.” Leia R., AVP of Marketing and Business Development, described Caleb as “the essence of what it means to live out our core value: Energy. He consistently brings energy that is contagious. Caleb represents Legacy well everywhere he goes, and is an essential member of our Marketing team!”
Empowerment- Gabby W.
Gabby is the Director of Data Analytics and has been with Legacy for 10 years. Gabby was highlighted for “exuding a sense of empowerment.” She is an advocate for bettering yourself and taking ownership of any situation you are presented with. It was said “she believes in herself and others, and she encourages those around her to do the same.” One of her nominators noted “she embodies everything it means to be empowered, and to give others the courage to be empowered as well.” Paula M., SVP of Finance and CFO, described Gabby as “going above and beyond to complete not only the tasks assigned to her, but any task where she feels she could make a valuable impact. Gabby is a pleasure to work with, and incredibly smart.” When asked how she felt about her nomination, Gabby said, “Honestly, I was shocked to receive the nomination and to know that others view me in such a way! It made my heart smile. I have been uniquely designed to push those I come into contact with; and honestly, empowerment in practice can sometimes be viewed negatively. I am honored it is something others admire about me. One concept I encourage people to stand on is: level the playing field between yes and no. Ask and fight for what you desire, because all anyone can say is yes or no. Once you’ve accepted the fact that you win in either scenario, what is there to be afraid of? I believe you can FLY! Why? Because you really can.”
