Never click on the link provided in an e-mail you believe is fraudulent. Viruses may be within the text that can contaminate your computer.
Review your account statements regularly to ensure all charges are correct.
If you believe the contact is genuine, contact the business/organization yourself.
Report suspicious e-mail or calls to the Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov, or by calling 1-877-IDTHEFT.
